Palette – The range of colours used by an artist or the physical board where paints are mixed.

Pastel – A medium made of powdered pigment and binder, used for drawing and painting with a soft texture.

Perspective – A technique that creates the illusion of depth and space on a flat surface; vital for realistic drawing and painting.

Pigment – The substance that gives paint its colour, a key term for understanding the chemistry of art materials.

Pointillism – A technique where small dots of pure colour are applied in patterns to form an image.

Pop Art – A 20th-century movement that drew inspiration from popular culture and mass media, challenging traditional art boundaries.

Portrait – A representation of a person, capturing likeness and personality, important in art history and contemporary practice.

Printmaking – The process of creating artworks by printing, typically on paper, including techniques like etching, lithography, and screen printing.

Proportion – The relationship in size between parts of a composition or between objects.
