The letter ‘TTTTTTTTTT’. OK we over did it but to be fair there are some great ‘T’ terms…

Tempera – A fast-drying painting medium made with pigment and egg yolk, widely used before oil painting.

Textile art – Art made using fabric, thread, and other fibers — an important medium in both historical and contemporary practices.

Texture – One of the elements of art, referring to how something feels (or looks like it feels); essential in drawing, painting, sculpture, and design.

Tonalism – A 19th-century style of painting that emphasized mood and atmosphere using muted tones.

Tone – The lightness or darkness of a colour or value, used to create depth, contrast, and mood.

Traditional art – Art that reflects cultural heritage, craft, and passed-down techniques.

Triptych – An artwork made up of three panels, often used in religious and narrative art.

Trompe-l’œil – A technique that means “fool the eye” in French, where realistic imagery creates an optical illusion of three dimensions.
